Yu Nan Liu is retiring

After 39 years of service to Air Products, Yu Nan Liu will be retiring in April.

Yu Nan joined Air Products in 1976 and has spent 38 of his 39 years dedicated to the advancement of Air Products’ position in the LNG industry, both technically and commercially.

He has been instrumental in establishing Air Products’ prominence in the LNG industry and has been involved in the development of liquefaction technology for over 60 LNG Plants incorporating 85+ cryogenic heat exchangers.

Yu Nan is recognized as one of the premier LNG technical experts globally. He has been an excellent ambassador for Air Products – never boastful, never arrogant, cognizant of cultural differences, technically sharp, and commercially savvy. 

He has authored or co-authored over 25 publications and patents relating to natural gas liquefaction technology and was the 2011 recipient of the Chairman’s Award for Excellence..

As the LNG business has grown, Yu Nan has been an excellent mentor for Process engineers, teaching both the technology and the customer interface aspects of the LNG business.
