1. FROM THE CHAIR: CALL TO VOLUNTEER
I want to introduce the 2018-2019 Executive Committee this month. We are working to continue growth of the Education Division, and are in the process of charging and recharging committees within the division this month. EdDiv Committees include: Course survey, K12 (Outreach), Webinars, Future Faculty, Membership, and Awards. Please email me by December 14th if you would like to volunteer to serve on a committee or in any other way during 2018. Please let any of us know your feedback at the emails list below.

2. OPEN POSITION: LECTURER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO
The College of Engineering at The University of Toledo invites applications for a non-tenure track lecturer appointment in the Chemical Engineering Department for Fall 2018. The successful candidate is expected to instruct and maintain the undergraduate laboratories, teach additional classes in the curriculum as needed, lead assessment and accreditation activities, and assist with undergraduate recruitment and retention efforts. Applicants must have an earned Masters or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or closely related field. Details are available at: che.utoledo.edu.

3. SUBMITTING ED-DIV ANNOUNCEMENTS
To submit an EdDiv announcement, please prepare a maximum of a 2-3 paragraph description including any relevant URLs and contact information as well as a subject line. Do not include any attachments. Email this information to Katie Cadwell <kdcadwel@syr.edu> with the email heading “For EdDiv Announcements.” Announcements will be sent out near the beginning of each month. Each announcement will be included once, unless otherwise requested. Announcements will also be recorded on the Division website: http://www.aiche.org/community/sites/divisions-forums/education-division .
