To pay lasting tribute to the late John C. Chen, the Carl R. Throughout his career as an educator and his longtime professional service to AIChE, John was a recognized for his inspirational leadership and his steadfast commitment to the next generation of chemical engineers. To celebrate John’s passion for leadership and his lasting impact on the chemical engineering profession, the endowment will provide scholarship funds to support, in perpetuity, the leadership development training of two selected young professional members of AIChE annually.

The selected young professionals will participate in the  PEAK Leadership Training Program. Funding will be made available for full AIChE Annual Meeting registration. Additional funds will be made available for tailored online training opportunities throughout the year.
