Julia Lin obtained her Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from Lamar University in 2018. She is currently working as an analytical chemist at Motiva Enterprises LLC. Lin also received The 2019 John C. Chen Endowment for Young Professional Leadership Scholarship which is presented to young professional members of AIChE to support their participation in leadership development programs.
