Adam Uliana is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley. He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2017 with a major in Chemical Engineering and three minors. As an undergraduate, Adam spent a semester researching nanofiltration membranes at KU Leuven (Belgium), interned at Air Products and Chemicals, and conducted research at Penn State and in Rwanda on a Moringa-functionalized sand filter.
