Alexei Lapkin

Prof. Lapkin studied Chemistry at Novosibirsk State University (Russia). He then obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Bath (UK). Dr. Robert W. Peters is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a registered professional engineer. Prior to joining UAB in 2001, he managed the Soil and Groundwater Treatability Laboratory at Argonne National Laboratory. He received his B.S.Ch.E. from Northwestern University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Iowa State University.
