AIChE-Boston (a/k/a “the Ichthyologists”) is the Boston Local Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. It is a 75 year old professional society with a rich history and over 600 active members, including engineers, scientists, managers, executives, professors, students, consultants, trainers, attorneys, investment specialists, and technologists.
From September through May we organize group events addressing a wide spectrum of member interests, from socializing to education, and networking to professional development. While the themes of our events revolve around chemical and biological engineering and allied fields, local membership and event participation is open to anyone.
