Sarah Guiziou

Dr. Guiziou is an EMBO Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington in the lab of Professor Jennifer Nemhauser. Sarah Guiziou completed a Master in bioengineering at the National Institute of Applied Science of Toulouse (INSA), and subsequently earned her Ph.D. in synthetic biology working at the University of Montpellier under the supervision of Dr. Jerome Bonnet. Denise Sekaquaptewa

Gymama Slaughter

Gymama Slaughter is the Executive Director of the Center for Bioelectrics. She received her B.S. in Chemistry in 2001, M.S. in Chemical Engineering in 2003, and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. She was selected to participated in the Office of Naval Research Sabbatical Leave Program at the Naval Research Laboratory’s Center for Bio/Molecular Science and Engineering (CBMSE) where she served as CBMSE Visiting Scholar and conducted research on the development of flexible biodegradable biological and chemical sensors. Patrick Ymele-Leki

Dr. Patrick Ymele-Leki currently serves as interim-chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the College of Engineering and Architecture at Howard University, Washington DC. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
