Brendan Niemira

Dr. Brendan A. Niemira is the Research Leader of the Food Safety and Intervention Technologies Research Unit at the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Eastern Regional Research Center in Wyndmoor, PA. He leads a team of 30+ scientists, engineers, technicians, postdocs and students in developing tools to kill human pathogens - E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Shigella, norovirus, etc. - on produce, meats, poultry, shellfish, and other foods.Read more

Gregory C. Rutledge

Gregory C. Rutledge is the Lammot du Pont Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Lead PI for MIT in AFFOA, a Manufacturing Innovation Institute focused on functional fabrics. Nils Averesch

Nils is a postdoc in the Criddle Lab at Stanford University, California, and part of CUBES (the Center for Utilisation of Biological Engineering in Space), as well as a collaborating scientist at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California. Before joining CUBES, Nils was the Synthetic Biology Task-Lead with USRA at NASA Ames Research Center.
