Flexar guided-wave radar level measurement system

The Flexar guided-wave radar level measurement system uses proven time-domain reflectometry (TDR) technology. It is used in a wide assortment of vessels and industries for measuring levels up to 200 ft (60m) in height. The Flexar sensor requires no field calibration or re-calibration and can be easily set up without the use of any special tools or training.

HotBus digital serial communication system

The HotBus digital serial communication system offers customers a cost-effective approach to continuous bearing-temperature monitoring. With up to 256 bearing sensors on a single twisted pair cable, installation is easier and maintenance free. The system allows complete control with user-adjustable relative ambient and absolute trip points for each sensor. HotBus Control units can be standalone or connected to relay control units to provide automatic machine shutdown. Ethernet, Modbus, and Device Net Gateways are also available for connection to existing networks.

Air Piston Vibrators

The VM-25, said to be the world’s smallest air-piston vibrator, will soon be available in all stainless steel. It can be used to promote the free flow of materials from small, thin-skinned (minimum 28 gauge) bins and hoppers to 2 ft3 (57 L) capacity. The device is ideal for pharmaceutical or food-grade applications, or in corrosive environments. It can be supplied with a muffler to prevent contamination and reduce noise levels. An air-cushioned version, VMAC-25, further decreases noise levels with a 30% reduced force output.

FT4 powder rheometer

The FT4 powder rheometer is a fully automated universal powder tester for the comprehensive characterization of powder flowability. The new permeability module uses a pressure transducer to measure pressure drop across the height of a powder bed in the system’s test vessel while the air velocity through the powder is controlled. Importantly, conditioning of the sample before evaluation ensures a homogeneous, stress-free and reproducible packing condition. Permeability measurements using the FT4 can be conducted in a variety of ways to suit specific requirements.

Burkert intelligent pressure guage module (IPGM)

The compact Burkert intelligent pressure gauge module (IPGM) integrates all necessary elements for precise remote pressure monitoring — an electronic pressure sensor, an amplifier with calibration memory and a communications unit. Furthermore, it is equipped with a digital display that shows all critical values locally (current pressure value, module state, limit overrun or underrun). The design of the module allows easy system initialization without additional wiring or tubing.

Optek AF46 Dual Wavelength UV Absorption Sensor

The optek AF46 dual wavelength UV absorption sensor features two discrete measurement channels, each with separate wavelengths. This allows a differential measurement that provides superior baseline stability and background noise rejection. Ideally suited for biotechnology and pharmaceutical applications, such as chromatographic separation, the AF46 can measure extremely high protein concentrations in ranges up to 30 OD. Tote Tank/IBC Heater

Designed for caged, plastic or metal tote tanks/IBCs, this heater controls temperature up to 160ºF (71ºC) with adjustable thermostats. The wrap-around blanket design allows for non-invasive heating. The heater fits any tote-tank width from 40 in. ¥ 40 in. to 48 in. ¥ 48 in. due to adjustable nylon straps and buckles. It includes a standard plug for an easy electrical connection. Unlike immersion heaters, it protects the contents and tote tank  surface from heat damage with manual reset high-limit safety thermostats.
