Traceable Lab Controller

The Traceable Lab Controller controls any appliance plugged into the back of it. In the time-of-day mode, it can be programmed for up to 224 on/off switchings per day. In the countdown mode, it turns on/off to the second. In the repeat mode, it continually cycles equipment on/off at any two unique time intervals. Three independent timing channels can be used to count down and alarm, count up (stopwatch mode), or count down repeat (repetitively alarm at a specific time interval). The Traceable accommodates times from 1 s to 100 h.

SCU multi-controller

Compatible with existing HART-compliant 2-wire or 4-wire units, the SCU multi-controller enables operators to view data from, and program, up to 15 ultrasonic level transmitters (ULTs) from a central control room. The SCU has an integrated LCD panel that accommodates a wide variety of display functions, including tank content visualization using echo analysis of the ULT. Output options include 4–20 mA and relays that are programmed via a six-button keypad in an IP65 enclosure.

Advantys OTB distributed input/output system

With an expandable block-type architecture, the Advantys OTB distributed input/output system is well-suited for small and medium-sized islands of distributed I/O. This allows it to be placed closer to the sensors and actuators it controls and reduces wiring time and costs. The Advantys OTB platform includes three communication bases for the various types of fieldbus, CANopen, Ethernet TCP/IP or Modbus RS-485 serial lines. Each communication base is 55 mm wide and has 20 I/O — 12 to 24 VDC inputs, six relay outputs and 2 to 24 VDC solid-state outputs.

VersaMax Micro 64 control system

The VersaMax Micro 64 control system provides a flexible and scalable automation solution through a wide range of input/output expansion modules, a variety of communication options, and multiple operator interfaces. A common software programming and tag database for the operator interface and controller shortens engineering development time and simplifies troubleshooting. A user-friendly memory module can be connected to the controller to download the latest program changes without the need for a personal computer.

Nicolet iS 10 FT-IR spectrometer

The Nicolet iS 10 FT-IR spectrometer carries out an efficient analysis of both raw materials and finished goods. Integrated with OMNIC Specta software, the system allows users to identify individual components in a mixture from a single spectrum. Materials are identified rapidly and with complete confidence, which is backed by the device’s Spectral Performance Verification (SPV) feature, which regularly monitors the system’s accuracy and performance. This diagnostic can be performed overnight so that the system is ready for the next day.

Traceable device

The Traceable device is a combination hydrometer, thermometer, barometer and dewpoint pen. It has a relative humidity range of 10.0–95.0% RH with a resolution of 0.1% and an accuracy of ±3–4%. The temperature range is 32.0°F to 122.0°F (0.0–50.0°C) with a resolution of 0.1% and an accuracy of ±1%. The dewpoint range is 13.5°F to 120.1°F (–25.3°C to 48.9°C) with a resolution of 0.01°.The barometer measures pressure in three different units: inches of mercury, millibars, and millimeters of mercury.

Jerguson Magnicator II FlashProof magnetic liquid-level indicator

The Jerguson Magnicator II FlashProof magnetic liquid-level indicator features a design upgrade that addresses two problems that are often encountered with standard level indicators: boiling fluids and flashing vapors. By employing a larger (3-in.) Sch. 40 pipe and two internal guide tubes, the device allows entrained gases that build up under the float to escape. The float is held to one side of the chamber to ensure an optimized magnetic field in close proximity to the indicator, transmitter or switches.

PG9607 piston gage

The new PG9607 piston gage measures absolute and gage pressures up to 500 kPa (72.5 psi). The piston gage is designed to meet the requirements of the National Measurement Institutes. Design innovations include a new high-performance 50-mm piston-cylinder design, and a 100-g mass load to allow a wide range of pressures to be defined by the single piston-cylinder assembly. The device uses DH Instruments AMH automatic mass-handling technology to allow for fully unattended testing, establishment of better reference vacuum, and improved long-term mass stability.

Quizix QX precision metering pumps

Quizix QX precision metering pumps are designed for pulse-free fluid delivery. They offer continuous, pulse-free pumping at a constant rate or constant pressure — an important objective for critical fluid-delivery and extraction applications such as catalyst injection and chromatography, lab-scale and pilot plant operations, and other applications where precision flowrates or volumetric measurements are critical. They can also be used to maintain a constant differential pressure by using inputs from remote pressure transducers.

FlexStream modular gas-standards-generating system

The new FlexStream modular gas-standards-generating system uses proprietary Trace Source permeation tubes that add precise concentrations of sulfur compounds to nitrogen, ethylene or propylene matrices. Typical polymerization processes require monomers with concentrations less than 1 ppmw total sulfur, less than 1 ppmw H2S, and less than 50 ppbw of COS. Calibration standards at those levels are not readily available and tend to be unstable in storage.
