It evenly delivers high-intensity white LED illumination, activating the blue dye precipitation in stained DNA gels. The SOGEVAC SV55 BI2 and SV70 BI2 are two new additions to the manufacturer’s line of oil-sealed rotary vane pumps, which have been made more robust and durable for analytical liquid and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) applications. These pumps feature flexible speed control, and the resilient design allows for 24,000 hrs of continuous operation. These pumps’ improved design enables quiet operation and reduces power consumption by 38% compared to previous models. They also occupy a much smaller footprint and are 46% lighter than previous iterations.
