Shrikant Dhodapkar is a Senior R&D Fellow in the Plastics & Hydrocarbons Process R&D Organization at The Dow Chemical Company (Lake Jackson, TX) and a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Shrikant holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi (India) and earned M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, PA. He has extensive industrial experience in designing & troubleshooting solids processing plants, and process development and implementation of technologies related to polymer production. During the past 35 years, he has published prolifically on various aspects of solids processing and contributed chapters to several handbooks, including the 9th edition of Perry’s Chemical Engineering Handbook. He is the past chair of AIChE’s Particle Technology Forum and past member of Chemical Technology Operating Council (CTOC).
