Eleanor O'Doherty

Eleanor graduated from The University of Surrey with an MChem in Chemistry in 2017. For the last few years she has been working towards a PhD at the University of Sheffield within the Catalysis group at the Chemical Engineering department under the supervision of Dr. James McGregor. Her PhD research includes the adaptation of Black solider fly larvae components into value-added products employing various organic chemistry techniques. Of note from current research concluded, is the production of anionic surfactants from the alternative BSFL oil.
