Gordon-Piatt brand Model FRMB rapid mix burner

The Gordon-Piatt brand Model FRMB rapid mix burner for gas- and gas/oil-firing boilers features a patented burner design that reduces both prompt and thermal NOx, thereby delivering ultra-low emissions. The FRMB burner capacities range from 125 to 600 boiler hp or 5,250,000 to 25,200,000 Btu/h. The firm offers guaranteed emissions performance of: less than 9 ppm NOx; less than 50 ppm CO; and less than 3 ppm VOC. A wide range of burner sizes is available for maximum efficiency and performance; oil can be fired as a back-up fuel when required.

MDH series dryers

The compact, heated MDH series dryers combine Nafion technology with a heating element to dry hot, wet, sample gases prior to analysis, increasing sample accuracy and reducing damage to downstream analysis equipment. The dryers were specifically created to dry gas samples with dew points higher than the ambient temperature, without requiring additional heating or insulation. Proprietary Nafion technology selectively removes only water from samples gases, leaving the rest of the gas sample unaffected.

Insta Plug heat-exchanger-tube plug

The Insta Plug heat-exchanger-tube plug is a novel mechanical plug that forms a continuous internal-tube-torque pressure that safely and economically seals high-pressure processes where heat exchangers are needed. Made of nickel titanium (NiTi) alloy, the Insta Plug utilizes the alloy’s recovery properties (i.e., shape memory) to triple-seal the tube in order to plug high-pressure feedwater heaters in critical applications, as well as medium- and low-pressure applications.

EZ Heater

The EZ Heater is a direct steam-injection heater that can be used in any process where instantaneous hot water is required. Its self-cleaning functions help to reduce overall maintenance expenses. The heater can reach temperatures up to 350°F with the ability to produce up to a 250°F temperature rise. It is available to accommodate flow ranges up to 600 gal/min. Each EZ HEater is customized to meet the user’s requirements.

8000 Series heat circulators

This line of compact circulators is designed for applications where bench space is at a premium. Suitable for placement on shelves or mobile carts, the 8000 Series heat circulators feature a 6-L reservoir, a temperature range from 5°C to 200°C, and are available with a choice of four different controllers. Other standard features include an integrated simplex or duplex pump, rapid-response heater, and easy-access sample immersion. The units measure just 14-in. high and require less than 1 ft2 of bench space.

SUPERMAX

The SUPERMAX all-welded plate heat exchanger is designed as an alternative to shell-and-tube exchangers in elevated pressure and temperature applications. It is particularly suited to applications having a large flow imbalance, including gas or vapor condensers, economizers and related process and energy services, for pressures up to 70 barg (1,015 psi) and at temperatures up to 537°C (1,000°F) for standard range units. With alternating channels for hot and cold media, the unit can be configured to provide true countercurrent or co-current flow.

RapidWrap, a Complete Line of Thermal Insulation Blankets

RapidWrap, a complete line of thermal insulation blankets, is designed for use on virtually any piece of equipment, including diesel exhaust systems, gas turbines, compressors, steam turbines, pumps and flanges. These cost-effective blankets can be easily removed and reapplied to equipment, reducing downtime, maintenance and labor costs. Asbestos-free, these blankets can reduce sound transmission, enhance employee safety and improve product reliability. They are designed to withstand intense conditions, including temperatures up to 1,200°F.

QTA and QVC Series ball valves

QTA and QVC Series industrial, compact ball valves feature socket or threaded-pipe connectors, as well as a rugged, all-plastic design similar to that found on higher-cost ball valves. They have Santoprene thermoplastic elastomer seats, full porting, and a 150-psi pressure rating. The QVC Series valves are available in 0.5-in to 4.0-in. sizes in gray or white polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The QTA Series valves are available in 0.5-in to 2.0-in. sizes in gray or white PVC, and include socket and threaded true union end connections.

AT shut-off valves and valve assemblies

Approved to Factory Mutual (FM) Class 7400, 7420 and 7422, the AT shut-off valves and valve assemblies feature a spring-return automated ball valve, explosion-proof limit switch and solenoid pilot valve, advanced quarter-turn rack-and-pinion actuator design, superior valve seating, and a patented stem-seal system. The valves are available in three-piece models or flanged models, with Type 316 stainless steel or WCB carbon steel trim, in sizes from 1/4 in. to 6 in.

Type 568 lug-style butterfly valve

The Type 568 lug-style butterfly valve has shaft seals that incorporate a double O-ring to protect against external leakage. A disc seal replaces the traditional rubber liner to allow the disc to completely disengage from the seal upon valve opening, reducing friction and improving wear capabilities. The disc seal also incorporates a cross-sectional profile that mechanically retains the seal in the valve body. And a specially engineered body seal features a Q-shaped O-ring that eliminates the need for flat gaskets. The valve has a modular design with an epoxy-coated iron lug body.
