Apple Cider Apothecary

Snow White's unforgettable entanglement with a poisoned apple has been a source of fascination for generations, capturing imaginations with its dark allure. But what if that very apple, once associated with danger, could be transformed into a powerful agent of protection and well-being? This abstract presents an awe-inspiring revelation: a sanitizer derived from the very fruit that once plunged Snow White into an eternal slumber. Sanitizers, derived from the word "sanitize+er”, are widely used substances or products designed to mitigate the presence of harmful pathogens, such as bacteria, on various surfaces. However, traditional sanitizers often contain chemical ingredients that may raise concerns, especially when considering their potential impact on children and the environment.

Apples, are not only delicious and nutritious fruits but also possess a range of beneficial properties, including the presence of polyphenol oxidase (PPO). Polyphenols, the substrates for PPO, are compounds present in apples that exhibit antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. These natural compounds play a crucial role in fighting against harmful pathogens by disrupting their cellular structure and inhibiting their growth. By leveraging the polyphenol content in apples, sanitizers derived from these fruits can offer an additional layer of protection against pathogens on various surfaces. By carefully extracting and distilling the potent elements found within these fruits, a unique and effective sanitizer solution can be created.

Furthermore, this emphasizes the broader significance of utilizing natural and sustainable ingredients in sanitizers.

Hence, we target this module for the age group 3-5 which aims at reducing our reliance on chemical-based alternatives, we can minimize potential risks to children, alleviate concerns about environmental impact, and foster a safer, more eco-conscious approach to hygiene practices.
