However, traditional sanitizers often contain chemical ingredients that may raise concerns, especially when considering their potential impact on children and the environment.
Apples, are not only delicious and nutritious fruits but also possess a range of beneficial properties, including the presence of polyphenol oxidase (PPO). Polyphenols, the substrates for PPO, are compounds present in apples that exhibit antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. These natural compounds play a crucial role in fighting against harmful pathogens by disrupting their cellular structure and inhibiting their growth.
