The American Institute of Chemical Engineers East Tennessee Local Section (AIChE ETLS) is excited to host the 2026 STEM Field Day, a large-scale outreach event designed to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.
This two-day event will bring together over 500 seventh-grade students from across the Kingsport area for a day of hands-on STEM demonstrations, challenges, and competitions. Activities will cover a wide range of topics—from chemistry and engineering to robotics and technology—giving students the chance to explore STEM in an interactive and engaging environment.
To make this event a success, more than 150 volunteers are needed to help guide activities, support demonstrations, and interact with students throughout the day.
