The CLE AIChE Steering Committee held its annual planning meeting for the monthly topics for the 2025-2026 year at the Metroparks Merwin's Wharf on the Cuyahoga River at Irishtown Bend in the Flats. We had 9 members of the steering committee attend for a very good meeting based on lessons learned from past meetings that were very successful and those that were not so successful. We also reviewed a comparative survey of AIChE Meeting topics between Cleveland; Chicago, IL; Midland, MI; and Houston, TX. The results of the survey showed that Cleveland is having comparable meeting topics as the three other major cities we surveyed. This not only includes meeting subjects, but also considers outreach programs, seminars, and tours. All of which we plan to continue with in the following year. We are also interested in developing growth and engagement with the Young Professionals membership in the 2025-2026 year.
