As a CRE member, I benefit a lot from the nice venue CRE created to connect the catalysis chemistry community and chemical reaction engineering practitioners together.
The Division is a focal point for interactions with institutions outside of AIChE in the domains of catalysis and reaction and fosters advancement of the field through awards, and application of catalysis and reaction engineering to solve societal challenges. The division seeks to create an inclusive and diverse eco-system in the field....
CRE encourages chemical engineering educators to highlight and develop appropriate curricular material, as well as foster research and development in this area.
CRE is an opportunity for me to learn about advancements in the field of catalysis, showcase my research, and build a professional network. I’m grateful that despite the Covid-19 pandemic, I can attend virtual webinars and talks by experts in my field that I would not have had the opportunity to participate in person.
