The Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded about $ 1 Billion to the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2). This region is in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The ARCH2 project will ramp up the hydrogen economy in this region, with existing markets for transportation, power generation and industrial use. Growth in these markets will require hydrogen generated by both steam methane reformation and electrolysis. The presentation will discuss the Ohio Clean Hydrogen Hub Alliance strategies to advance the hydrogen economy in Ohio.
