Fabiola Chapa Villareal

Fabiola was born and raised in Mexico until starting her PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. She works with Dr. Nicholas Peppas and her research focuses on developing an oral delivery platform for protein therapeutics to treat autoimmune diseases. In the future, she plans to focus on health disparities by improving available treatment options.Read more

Antonio Del Rio Flores

Antonio was born in Michoacán, México and moved to the United States during his youth. He attended the University of California, Davis and double majored in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering with a Departmental Citation. Currently, Antonio is a fifth year PhD candidate at the University of California, Berkeley in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Viviana Monje-Galvan

Originally from Bolivia, Dr Monje-Galvan completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Maryland-College Park, under the supervision of Dr Jeffery Klauda. As an undergraduate, she was an LSAMP scholar, and later an LSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate Fellow. Isabela was born in Colombia. She received her B.S. degree from Syracuse University in Chemical Engineering and Neuroscience. After receiving her bachelors, she has been pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Gabriel Josue Rodriguez-Rivera

Dr Rodriguez-Rivera was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and then moved north and earned an M.S. degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He worked for seven years in the technology transfer of new products at Bristol Myers Squibb in Puerto Rico.
