Zhen Wang

Dr. Zhen Wang joined the faculty of Biologicals Sciences at the University at Buffalo in 2017. Her research focuses on identifying biosynthetic pathways of plant natural products and sustainable production of plant-based medicines through metabolic engineering and synthetic biology. Dr. Wang received her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University and carried out postdoctoral research at Department of Chemistry at University of California, Berkeley.
