Wesley Stein

Wes Stein is a Chief Research Scientist for Solar Technologies at CSIRO. He has been active in CSP research for over 25 years and was instrumental in establishing the National Solar Energy Centre at CSIRO, including building Australia's first solar tower. He is also a Chief Technologist for the Australian Solar Thermal Research Institute where he leads the development of strategies and technologies for the next generation of CSP. Guillermo Garcia-Perez

Guillermo García-Pérez received his PhD in physics from the University of Barcelona in 2018. He then moved to Turku, Finland, to work as a senior researcher in the Turku Centre for Quantum Physics and the Complex Systems Research Group of the University of Turku. In 2020, he co-founded Algorithmiq, where he has also been working as Chief Scientific Officer since then. In 2021 he received a grant from the Academy of Finland to work on emergent geometry from entanglement at the University of Helsinki.Read more
