Mark Barrett

Mark completed his Chemical Engineering undergraduate, PhD and post-doctoral studies from The School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering in University College Dublin. These studies focused on discovering new ways to develop and manufacture medicines. 

Mark is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of APC Ltd. a 100% Irish owned pharmaceutical company focused on revolutionizing how new medicines are developed and accelerated to the market. Mark co-founded, with Prof. Brian Glennon, and led APC from its inception, to commercialisation, to global growth.

Paul Dauenhauer

Paul Dauenhauer received a bachelor of science in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2004, and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2008 supervised by Professor Lanny D. Schmidt. From 2008 to 2009, Paul worked as a senior research engineer for the Dow Chemical Company within Core R&D Reaction Engineering.
