James Dahlman

James Dahlman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory School of Medicine. His lab works at the interface of drug delivery, genomics, and gene editing by applying big data and ‘technology development’ approaches to nanomedicine. James’ students have developed DNA barcoded nanoparticles to measure how hundreds of nanoparticles deliver mRNA and siRNA in multiple cell types in vivo, all from a single animal. Since 2016, the lab has used DNA barcoding to quantify thousands of nanoparticles in vivo, thereby identifying nanoparticles that...Read more

Deepti Tanjore

Deepti Tanjore is Director of the Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts Process Development Unit Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory(ABPDU) and interfaces with several scientists from industry, academia, and start-ups that are each individually trying to resolve scale-up challenges for their synthetic biology–based technologies. Deepti’s interests lie in articulating industry-wide issues and developing technologies that no single company is incentivized to pursue....Read more

Clare Fasching

Clare’s early career focused on cancer research; she completed a PhD at Children’s Medical Research Institute through the University of Sydney where she studied telomere length maintenance. After a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, Davis focusing on biochemical reconstitution of the homologous recombination pathway, she transitioned to Telomere Diagnostics, Inc. where she led the development of a direct-to-consumer sample collection kit for telomere length measurement. Clare joined the diagnostics team at Mammoth Biosciences in 2018 where she is currently leading...Read more
