Jefferson Tester

Dr. Tester is a professor of sustainable energy systems in the Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Cornell University. He also serves as principal scientist for Cornell’s Earth Source Heat project. Dr. Tester is a Croll Energy Fellow and a Fellow in the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future. Prior to his appointment at Cornell in 2009, Dr. Tester was the H.P. Dr. Christopher W. Jones

Professor Jones is the William R. McLain Chair and Professor of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Tech.  He joined Georgia Tech as an Assistant Professor in 2000 and then rose through the ranks, including serving as Associate Vice President for Research from 2013-2019, including a period as Interim Executive Vice-President for Research in 2018.
