Nilou Sarah Arden

Dr. Arden leads the New Technologies and Innovation group at FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research focusing on advanced manufacturing, analytical methods development, data science and modeling to advance public health. Her work involves engaging stakeholders in research programs impacting safety, efficacy, quality and access to medicines. Alyssa Panitch

Dr. Panitch received Bachelor’s degrees from Smith College in Biochemistry and from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in Chemical Engineering.  She completed her Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. She currently serves as the Edward Teller Professor of Biomedical Engineering and the Executive Associate Dean in the College of Engineering at the University of California at Davis.  Her research interests include the design and delivery of biomacromolecules to improve tissue healing and regeneration for unmet medical needs....Read more

Bryce Hughes

Bryce Hughes, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Adult and Higher Education at Montana State University. In 2018, he published one of the first studies showing that LGBQ students are more likely to leave STEM fields than their heterosexual peers. Dr. Hughes holds a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from Gonzaga University, a Master of Arts in Student Development Administration from Seattle University, and a Ph.D. in Education from UCLA.
