Dr. Andrew Jackson is a Presidents Excellence in Research Professor and Provost’s Integrated Scholar in the Department of Civil Environmental and Construction Engineering at Texas Tech University. His research interests include evaluating the of a variety of contaminants, including: perchlorate, heavy metals, explosives, and chlorinated solvents, in natural environments, along with the development of methods to study these processes at appropriate scales. Götz Veser is Nickolas DeCecco Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He holds a Diploma in chemical engineering from the University of Karlsruhe, and a PhD in physical chemistry from the Fritz Haber Institute, Berlin (Germany). Ilan Volovitz heads a lab that combines basic research in cancer immunotherapy with clinical translation.

A cell therapy approach developed in the lab called "Split Immunity" for treatment of glioblastoma has completed a First in Human trial in the department of Neurosurgery at the Tel Aviv medical center.
