Beth Pruitt

Beth Pruitt joined the Department as a Professor in April 2018. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with an S.B. in mechanical engineering. She was in Navy ROTC at MIT where she learned sailing, leadership, and perseverance. She received an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University then served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, first at the engineering headquarters of the nuclear program then as an instructor teaching Systems Engineering (and offshore sailing in the summer) at the U.S. Naval Academy. Kevin Healy

Kevin E. Healy, Ph.D. is the Jan Fandrianto and Selfia Halim Distinguished Professor in Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley in the Departments of Bioengineering, and Materials Science and Engineering. He served as Chair of the Department of Bioengineering from 2011 to 2015. He received a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 1983. He obtained graduate degrees in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania (M.Eng.: 1985; Ph.D.: 1990). Adam W. Feinberg

Dr. Feinberg is the principal investigator of the Regenerative Biomaterials and Therapeutics Group, founded at Carnegie Mellon University in 2010.  He earned his BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University in 1999 with co-op experience at Abiomed, Inc., working on total artificial hearts.
