Eric S. Reiner

Eric S. Reiner is a chemical engineering alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his SB and PhD, respectively. Reiner is a presently a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a retired managing director at UBS AG (the Swiss bank). Reiner spent more than 20 years, 16 of which as a managing director (partner), at UBS where his career focused on equity derivatives trading and enterprise-wide risk management. Stephanie Farrell

Dr. Stephanie Farrell is Interim Dean and Professor and Founding Chair of Experiential Engineering Education Department in the Henry M. Rowan College at Rowan University (USA). She is the immediate past president of ASEE. Dr. Farrell has contributed to engineering education through her work in inductive pedagogy, spatial skills, and inclusion and diversity. This session will include a presentation and a panel on how to best attract, engage and include LGBTQ+ engineers into your workplace, department or classroom. Strategies will be given for allies of the LGBTQ+ community to better support their colleagues and influence the overall climate.
