John Van Zee

JOHN W. VAN ZEE (Ph.D., Texas A&M University, 1984) is a professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Alabama. He served as Department Head in 2013 and 2014. Before January 2013, he was a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of South Carolina where he created and served as the Director of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Center for Fuel Cells. Brent Shanks

G.V. Rex Reklaitis

Gintaras.V. (Rex) Reklaitis is Burton and Kathryn Gedge Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. He has served as Head of the School of Chemical Engineering and deputy director of the NSF Engineering Research Center on Structured Organic Particulate Systems. His expertise lies in process systems engineering, the application of information and computing technologies to process and product design, process operations and supply chain management.Read more

Mark Shiflett

Mark Shiflett, P.E. is a Technical Fellow at DuPont in the Central Research and Development division at the Experimental Station in Wilmington, Delaware.  He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.  He has worked on a variety of DuPont programs and most recently been leading a team of research scientists studying new applications using ionic liquids.

Albert Carpenter

Meagan Lewis

Meagan Lewis is currently the North America General Manager for Projects in Honeywell’s Building Solutions business. She has been with Honeywell for 15 years. Meagan spent the first 13 years of her career in Honeywell UOP’s oil and gas business and now the last two years with Honeywell Building Technologies.

Meagan earned her BS degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois in 2008 and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago in 2014. She has held several volunteer leadership roles at Honeywell and in AIChE, serving as a board member from 2016-2018.
