My research has been in various areas from the utilization of coal, coal combustion, and gasification by-products, NOX, SO2 and Hg emissions control from flue-gas, oil shale pyrolysis, methane storage on activated carbon, and thermal properties and characterization of the forms of ammonia captured by combustion ash.
