Heat exchangers are the workhorse of the process industry and, as such, they are expected to work at all times. However, heat exchangers do suffer of vibration issues, fouling and leakages thus maintenance and reliability by design is paramount. In this session, we will discuss all aspects related to maintenance and reliability of Heat Exchangers, with particular focus on novel approaches, including predictive and prescriptive maintenance, leakage prevention and detection, anti-vibration devices.
