Papers in this session include recent material on review, research, fundamentals, applications, and case study examples for energy conservation in refineries and refinery-like plants including upgraders, sulfur plants, gas treating and others. Areas of interest would include heat-integration, work recovery, fouling and fouling mitigation, energy use minimization, and other areas. Advances in processes, equipment, and analytic techniques with possible practical application to solving industrial problems are strongly encouraged for submission.
