Presentation Topic:
Implementing and utilizing a formal change procedure in the production area or elsewhere, promotes safe operations and can prevent injury and even death. It will also favorably impact a company’s bottom-line and is an integral part of a properly implemented OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) program. This presentation will look at the origins of management of change requirements in the process chemical industry, and, using the experience of Sam Shortcut - Plant Engineer as a guide, provide an overview of what a well-designed management of change program looks like. 

About the Speaker: 
Peter Sibilski has over 30 years of experience in project management, product development, and energy management in the process-chemical and pharmaceuticals industries. He has led diverse, cross-functional teams in achieving business-driven goals for projects of significant dollar value. Peter has a proven track-record of successful and award-winning product development and project implementation providing significant cost savings, increased operational efficiencies, and enhanced competitive position. He received his BSChE in 1981 from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and has an MBA – Technology Management from The University of Phoenix. Peter is a licensed PE in New Jersey, and is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
