Robert J. Schmidt
Bob Schmidt graduated from the U. of Rochester in 1977 with an MSCHE and joined UOP in that same year. He has been with UOP for 39 years in various areas of both Research and Development with emphasis on Petrochemicals, Light Fuels, and Platforming. His most recent assignment (15 years) has been in the R&D Aromatics and Derivatives Tech Center working in the Q-Max/Phenol area, Pygas Hydrotreating, Motor Fuel Ionic Liquid Alkylation, and recently UOP Phenol 3G with the current position as a Fellow.
