Phil Clark is a certified safety professional and certified industrial hygienist who’s worked in the safety and health industry for the last 15 years. For the first 5 years of his career, he was the industrial hygienist for the Navy SEALs and the Naval helicopter maintenance and repair teams on the West Coast. But for the last decade, Phil has provided safety expertise and conducted process hazard analysis for renewable hydrogen research, supporting researchers at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as they’ve pioneered advancements in catalyst development, dispensing efficiency, and reliability testing amongst other contributions to the industry. His passion for helping people efficiently navigate safety requirements has led him to start up his software company, Omitz, to help engineers and startups more easily navigate codes and standards.
