Oreste Vassillo

Oreste is a Technical Specialist for chemicals applications in Petrochemical and Refinery units. Oreste is an Italian chemical engineer who worked for almost 8 years in Eni’s petrochemical company on one of the 10 major ethylene plants in Europe and on the butadiene extraction plant present in the site, earning a great experience on process matters. In 2011 Oreste joined General Electric Water & process Technologies (now SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions) as technical support for chemicals applications. He faced many issues in caustic tower applications as Marghera case. Oreste is also expert for corrosion matters and has solved numerous problems encountered on critical applications in different refineries and petrochemical plants. Oreste is covering different countries as Italy, Turkey & Caspian Area. Oreste is also responsible for the InSight platform for process applications in Europe.
