N. Nesterenko (b. 1977) graduated cum-laude from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 2000, obtained PhD (Heterogeneous catalysis) in 2004 from University of Montpellier & MSU, and joined the R&D division of Total in 2005 in Belgium. Then, he completed EMBA (2014) at HULT International Business School in London (UK). In the period 2017 -2021, he was the coordinator of R&D program on conversion of natural gas in TotalEnergies and the head of the ANR Industrial Chair Laboratory on materials development for natural gas upgrading between Total and National Engineering School of Caen (France). In March 2022, N. Nesterenko joint Sulzer and was appointed the Head Technology Commercialization at Global technology Business. N. Nesterenko is (co-) inventor of more than 130 patents; (co-) author of more than 40 articles, one of the key contributors in four industrializations of new technologies. In the latest years, his interests were focused on low carbon developments in monomers synthesis, electrification of refining & chemical industry, and natural gas upgrading to chemicals and hydrogen.
