Liang Ying Ee

Liang Ying (Tim), Ee is a Postdoctoral Fellow currently working with Professor Ingo Pinnau in the Division of Physical Science and Engineering/ Advanced Membranes and Porous Materials Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. He is an alumnus of the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he not only earned his accelerated undergraduate degree with honors but also attained his PhD in Chemistry in January 2023. During his PhD and Research Assistantship, he was a NUS Research Scholar under the guidance of Professors Sam Fong Yau Li, Shing Bor Chen, and Neal Tai-Shung Chung. At present, Liang Ying is directing his research efforts towards the extraction of valuable resources from various environments. This he accomplishes by amalgamating porous adsorbent materials, deep eutectic solvent, and synthetic membranes.
