Jaehong is going through a Ph.D. course in the department of chemical and biomolecular engineering at KAIST under the supervision of Prof. Siyoung Choi. He has studied the self-assembly of ions and molecules at liquid/liquid interfaces (metal ion-polymer complexes) that possess unique 2-dimensional structures. Based on crystallographic techniques, his research interest extends to through-plane size exclusion, or the ionic/electronic transport properties of the metal ion-polymer complex.
