Edison Huixiang Ang

Edison Huixiang Ang is currently an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Education, an institute of Nanyang Technological University. He received his PhD degree from Nanyang Technological University in 2017, then he continued his postdoctoral research at National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. He is also currently an Early Editorial Board Member of Chemical Engineering Journal and Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports. He received the Sabic Young Professional Award, Singapore National Institute of Chemistry Early Career Research Award and Young Scientist Medal Award in 2022 and selected as one of the Emerging Investigators for Journal of Materials Chemistry A in 2022. All of these are in recognition of his outstanding research accomplishments and leadership in science, engineering, and technology. His current research interests combine nanotechnology and additive manufacturing approaches to develop functional nanostructures and smart materials for advanced energy storage and membrane technology sensing applications.
