Deborah Grubbe currently serves as the Corporate Marketing Officer of Near-Miss Management, a Philadelphia-based technology company that uses patented and proprietary software analysis to reduce firms’ operational risk and to improve process and mechanical reliability. Formerly a career executive in operational and technical positions at BP and at DuPont, Ms. Grubbe was a consultant to the Columbia Shuttle Accident Investigation Board, and served nine years as a member of the NASA Aerospace Advisory Panel. As an Emeritus Member of the Center for Chemical Process Safety, Deborah also advised the US Army on the demilitarization of the US Chemical Weapons Stockpile. A licensed Professional Engineer and a Chartered Engineer in the UK, she was Delaware's Engineer of the Year in 2002, and received an Honorary Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Purdue in 2010. She is a Fellow of both the AIChE and the IChemE.
