The Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar Student Chapter participated in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge for the month of September 2018. In the video, a Student Chapter member provides an overview of the school's campus and its research interests. The University of Alabama, Huntsville Student Chapter participated in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge for the month of August 2018. In the video, a few Chapter members comically discuss the difficulty of understanding and applying thermodynamic principles. Courtney Anderson, Student Chapter president, then explains what makes Huntsville unique and how they incorporate aspects of the city into their Student Chapter. Centro Universitário SENAI CIMATEC's Student Chapter participated in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge for the month of July 2018. In the Chapter’s video, CIMATEC shares its goal of bringing students closer to industry. We join CIMATEC on an industrial visit to a local Monsanto Company site where Chapter members learn about the company's current projects and plans for the future. Universidade Estadual de Maringá Student Chapter participated in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge for the month of June 2018. Universidad Nacional de Colombia Sede Medellín (UNAL Medellín) Student Chapter participated in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge for the month of May 2018. In the Chapter’s video, Chapter members introduce us to some of their favorite locations on campus, including popular meeting places, a stable, and a few green spaces used to study and relax. Last month, University of Cincinnati’s Student Chapter of AIChE challenged their Sister Chapter at Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) to participate next in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge. UTP AIChE shares with us an inside look at their Information Resource Centre, the school’s on-campus library. The video also features the An Nur Grand Mosque and their Formula 1 car. Last month, University College London’s Student Chapter of AIChE challenged the University of Cincinnati (UC) to participate next in the ESC “Show-and-Tell” Video Challenge. UC provided us an overview (literally) of their campus through aerial footage recorded by a student’s drone. We also hear from some of the individual student members about their favorite aspect of UC’s chapter. We learn that the chapter focuses on providing leadership opportunities, networking, social, and philanthropic events.
In January, North Carolina State University’s AIChE Student Chapter started off the ESC "Show-and-Tell" Video Challenge by providing us an inside look at what makes their chapter special through a short video. NC State then challenged the AIChE Student Chapter from “across the pond” at University of College London (UCL) to participate next.
