Statement on Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for attendees of our upcoming events and we are actively monitoring the development and impact of the Coronavirus on the ability for all to travel and attend safely. We are planning for our event to occur on its new dates of August 16-20, though we recognize that the situation is rapidly evolving and that alternative plans may be necessary as the time gets closer. If the situation changes, we will update this statement and inform attendees. FAQ.

Registration fees include breakfasts, lunches, receptions, coffee breaks, and conference materials. Hotel rooms are not included.

Registrants of the Spring Meeting & Global Congress

If you are already registered for the 2020 AIChE Spring Meeting or 16th Global Congress on Process Safety, you can add registration to the 2020 Frontiers in Particle Science & Technology for an additional $395. To do so, please contact Customer Service at the number listed in the cancellation policy below.

Visa and Invitation Letters

If you require a visa or invitation letter, please send the following information to invitationletters@aiche.org

  • Name of event
  • Proof of registration
  • Full Name
  • Company/University
  • Address
  • Any additional necessary information, such as passport or identification information

Letters will be sent via email as PDFs and will contain general event information such as dates and venues. If more specific event information is required, please let us know.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests can be made by calling Customer Service at 1-800-242-4363 (domestic), +1 203-702-7660 (outside the United States), or by emailing customerservice@aiche.org.

  • If your cancellation request is received 30 days or more before the first day of the event, AIChE will refund your paid registration fees minus an administration charge of $100.00.
  • Registrants canceling fewer than 30 days prior to the first day of the event (or failing to attend) will not receive a refund.
  • Registration fees may be transferred to another individual for a $50 administration charge

    Registration Policy

    AIChE's meeting registration policy is based on the premise that AIChE's conferences and meetings are amongst the most prestigious and best attended chemical engineering conferences in the world. Therefore, all participants, including speakers (invited or accepted through the Call for Abstracts), are expected to register and pay the appropriate registration fee.
