Lignocellulosic resource is the biomass material with polysaccharides and aromatic polymers. This bio-source based chemical and material can be capable of producing value ended products such as sustainable corrosion inhibitors. Green corrosion inhibitors are biodegradable and do not contain heavy metals or other toxic compounds. The physical properties such as temperature, concentration, solubility and multi-phase equilibrium has a great impact on the inhibition effect. The experiment measurement and modeling techniques are used to study the effect of multiple physical properties and multi-phase equilibrium of ternary mixture (Green Corrosion Inhibitor, Brine, Oil). Since the corrosion is still one of the industrial challenges to the equipment, pipeline and other infrastructure, the results from this study will benefit the environment, chemical industry, and give contribution to knowledge in the field toward the anti-corrosion efficiency of carbon steel for the transportation of brine and crude oil.
