Parking and Directions
Parking within the French Embassy premises is not possible. In addition to limited Reservoir Road metered (before 6:30 pm) and free (after 6:30 pm) street parking right in front of the embassy, there is paid parking at Georgetown University Hospital across the street from the embassy. The Leavey Parking Garage and Lot A are accessible from Georgetown University Hospital Entrance 1 (3800 Reservoir Rd, Washington, DC). Driving from I-495 Capital Beltway – Exit 49B at I-66E for Dunn Loring, VA. Take Rte 29N (Lee Hwy) toward Key Bridge. Make left on M St NW to Canal Rd NW, and stay straight to go onto Foxhall Rd NW. Turn right on Reservoir Rd NW. The French Embassy is on left, and Georgetown University Hospital Entrance 1 is on right. Driving from Washington, DC – Take Wisconsin Ave NW. Turn onto Reservoir Rd NW. Georgetown University Hospital Entrance 1 is on left, and the French Embassy is on right.
Taking a Metro Bus – Two Metro Bus lines, D2 and D6, will take you right to the main doors of the embassy.
