ABSTRACT:
This talk will provide an overview of the key inputs needed for a successful reactor design and the different aspects that a designer must pay attention to. Some complexities associated with multiphase reaction systems will also be discussed. Applications of these fundamental concepts to reactor design, scale up and troubleshooting are critical for the safe and efficient operation of chemical reactors in the process industry.
