Hello CVS,
We welcome you all to attend Richland's 3rd annual Celebration of Science coming up on April 20th. This year, the event will be moved to the Fingernail in Howard Amon Park and is themed "Our Scientific Heritage," recognizing how scientific and engineering investments of the past shape our present and future. This is a free, family-friendly event designed to bring the community together to enjoy hands-on science activities and engage with local scientists. Previous events spawned business opportunities and friendships, increased participation in local programs, and inspired young minds to be future engineers, developers, and scientists
As we did last year, CVS will be hosting a booth from 11am to 2pm where we will provide an 'oobleck' demonstration to the public. If you have interest in volunteering, please email njaegers@gmail.com indicating your interest and time commitment. A courtesy reminder will be provided. If you do not wish to volunteer, please still stop by to say hello, enjoy the activities, and view the other booths in support of the event.
