[January 31, 2024] We are happy to announce that the Awards Committee of the AIChE Management Division (MGMT) started this year with a lot of enthusiasm for receiving nominations, selecting recipients, and organizing award sessions for our prestigious awards, and with new leadership on board. Committee Chair is Dr. Cristina U Thomas, Transformative R&D and STEM Leader/AIChE Fellow, and Committee Vice-Chair is Dr. Belma Erdogan-Haug, Henkel’s Head of Product Development and Innovation - AMI Americas. They are honored to advance MGMT’s mission of furthering knowledge, recognizing deserving leaders and managers, and promoting active dialogue amongst chemical engineers at all levels of management and entrepreneurship. Both the Young Leader Award and the Management Award recipients host sessions at the Spring and Annual meetings, with selective invited speakers and panelists, providing ample opportunity for interactive Q&A.
